As a Finisher, you will work within a rental organisation of 40 colleagues. You are a finisher from Geba. You have road construction in your blood and always strive for high-quality work, where you don't mind irregular shifts. As a finisher at Geba, you bear great responsibility for the machines, the working environment and safety.<\/p>\n

Job requirements<\/strong><\/h4>\n

  • Minimum completed MBO level 3 education<\/li>\n
  • Relevant work experience<\/li>\n
  • Possess VCA-basis and driving licence BE<\/li>\n
  • Command of the Dutch language<\/li>\n
  • Available full-time and willing to work weekends and nights<\/li>\n
  • Willingness to work in border areas (Belgium and Germany)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Job content<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    You are a finisher within the team where, together with your team, you ensure that the layer thickness of the asphalt is applied as ordered. You work as part of a team and therefore communicate a lot with the beam man, paver finisher and roller drivers. Your input and ideas are important for the success of the team. The lines in the team are therefore short and you talk to each other openly and directly.<\/p>\n

    Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Removing debris and dirt from the asphalt layer;<\/li>\n
    • Covering manhole covers, gullies and street pots;<\/li>\n
    • Applying asphalt reinforcement;<\/li>\n
    • Applying the adhesive layer or helping the driver applying the adhesive layer;<\/li>\n
    • Levelling asphalt with hand tools;<\/li>\n
    • Touching up asphalt edges, seams and removing spilt asphalt;<\/li>\n
    • Giving directions to drivers of asphalt trucks;<\/li>\n
    • Possible asphalt dusting;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
