Job description<\/h2>\n

You will work with various rollers (tandem, static, vibratory roller) of Geba and those of its clients and you will be responsible for the high-quality and responsible compaction of asphalt pavements. You have road construction in your blood and always strive for high-quality work, whereby you do not mind irregular shifts. As an operator, you bear great responsibility for the machines, the working environment and safety. You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.<\/p>\n

Job requirements<\/h2>\n

  • Minimum completed MBO level 3 education<\/li>\n
  • Relevant work experience<\/li>\n
  • Possess VCA-basis and driving licence BE<\/li>\n
  • Command of the Dutch language<\/li>\n
  • Available full-time and willing to work weekends and nights<\/li>\n
  • Willingness to work in border areas (Belgium and Germany)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Job content<\/h2>\n

    You control the roller where, together with your team, you ensure that the correct compaction is achieved.\u00c2 You work as part of a team and therefore communicate a lot with the beam man, asphalt finishers and roller drivers. Your input and ideas are important for the success of the team. The lines in the team are therefore short and you talk to each other openly and directly.<\/p>\n

    Preparation and execution of the work<\/h3>\n

    - Prepares work with the machine.
    \n- Loads and unloads machine onto and off a means of transport (flatbed truck).
    \n- Makes the machine ready for use on time.
    \n- Reports and records activities
    \n- Moves the machine.
    \n- Performs machine work.<\/p>\n

    Performs maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting<\/h3>\n

    - Performs regular maintenance and minor repairs to the machine if necessary
    \n- Reports and records maintenance
    \n- Identifies, analyses and remedies machine malfunctions<\/p>\n

    Responsibilities<\/h3>\n

    Daily maintenance of the machine.
    \nSafety for yourself and others before, during and after your work.<\/p>\n
