Strong start
GEBA has a rich history dating back to the early 20th century, when the company was founded as a Van Engelen Wegenbouw. This family business focused entirely on road construction and quickly built a strong reputation for quality and craftsmanship. Over the years, Van Engelen developed further and saw an opportunity to respond to the growing demand for equipment rental.
Specialist in rental
In the 1970s, Van Engelen transformed its operations and focused the GEBA which establishes it as a specialist in rental solutions for the construction and infrastructure sector. This move enables it to provide customers not only with high-quality machines, but also with the flexibility and service they needed for their projects. GEBA is growing to become a trusted name in the Dutch construction industry, always focusing on innovation and customer satisfaction.
Emission-free & environmentally friendly
In 2020, GEBA hits an important marker with the establishment of Green Road Equipment by its current owner. This brand is focused on developing emission-free road construction equipment. This enables GEBA to take the lead in sustainable technologies within the Netherlands. Green Road Equipment introduces pioneering electric machines, such as rollers and asphalt pavers. These 100% emission-free machines set the standard for eco-friendly construction and help accelerate the energy transition.

In 2024, the strengths of both brands will be merged. Now operating under the GEBA name, we are groundbreaking in green solutions. This cooperation enables us to offer a wide range of conventional and emission-free equipment. As well as support in the electrification of existing equipment.
