To make the switch to emission-free material more attractive, the government offers several subsidies. Clean and Emission-free Construction Equipment Grant Scheme (SSEB)
The SSEB is specifically aimed at encouraging the purchase and use of clean and emission-free construction equipment. This scheme offers financial support to companies wishing to invest in emission-free equipment or convert their existing machines to reduce emissions.
What does the SSEB entail?
- Subsidy for Purchase: Companies can apply for a grant to purchase all-electric (road) construction equipment.
- Grant for Conversion: A grant is also available for converting existing diesel machines to zero emission operation.
Target: The scheme aims to reduce emissions on construction sites and helps companies transition to cleaner equipment.
