Asphalt spreader operator

At Geba, you will work as an asphalt spreader operator in a close-knit team of 40 colleagues within a flat organisation with short lines of communication. Job description

As an asphalt spreader operator at Geba, you will operate the asphalt spreading machines of both Geba and our clients. With a passion for road construction, you always deliver quality work and are willing to work irregular shifts. You will be responsible for managing the machines, performing work safely and the overall working environment.

Job requirements

• At least a completed MBO level 3 education
• Relevant work experience in road construction
• In possession of VCA-basis and driving licence BE
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Available full-time, including working weekends and nights
• Willing to work in border areas (Belgium/Germany)

What will you do?

• Preparing and carrying out work with asphalt spreading machines
• Driving, maintaining and moving asphalt machines
• Actively communicate with your colleagues in the team, such as the beam man and asphalt finishers
• Taking responsibility for the safety of yourself and the team while working
